’Tis awesome? Nay, it’s awesometacular!
Comment:
This is an adventure game with nice graphics and sound effects,
and it mainly focuses on atmosphere and immersion; so-called
a “funiki game” in Japanese game culture.
My spoiler-free review in brief is as follows:
Strengths:
• Players can enjoy their journey in strange and mysterious places,
which are characterized by quite spectacular graphics and SFX.
• Scene 2 is really awesometacular; in other words, the lighting,
footsteps and conversations give an unmistakable experience
to every person coming here. This creator is a kind of genius!
• Comedy scenes also made fun of me as well as a horror scene.
Salik, in the video game, never forgets to play the funny man
and the straight man acting as dual role.
Weaknesses:
• I felt bored a little bit until Scene 2, since there are incredibly too
many people who only speak unintelligible words in the first area.
Even so, the red arrows indicate us where the next destination is.
• In addition, from Scene 3 to Scene 6 seem to be so slow-paced
and not exciting very much. They might need to be streamlined,
or some thrilling scenes like Scene 2 ought to be installed here.
